Dunroman is a slice of local history and was originally owned by the founder of Daylesford’s largest brewery.  The property spent 20 years as a guest house, then had a major refurbishment and is now a beautifully presented country villa on the holiday rental market, offering modern amenities with old fashioned charm and character.  Stylish furnishings and a well planned renovation has meant Dunroman is consistently a very popular choice for family and friends, comfortably sleeping 8 guests but with the ability to sleep up to 10 (utilising the sofa bed).

The home has 4 bedrooms comprising 1 king split, 1 king with double sofa bed, 1 queen and a twin room, and there are 2 bathrooms with showers plus 2 toilets.  All are fashionably chic and interesting.  With the ability to enjoy different living and dining options and features like the centre piece brick chimney, wood fire, indoor outdoor living and proximity to town, guests tell us they adore Dunroman and many come back time and time again.  Fabulous for a group of friends; equally welcoming for families.

Dunroman is  an easy walk to the main street, and is close to restaurants, cafes and the local supermarket.  Free WIFI and Netflix are also available.  There is central ducted heating and a split system and in summer the undercover deck is often well utilised.  NB: If you need to use the sofa bed, please email our office when making the booking so we allow for extra linen.

“We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our annual winter xmas trip. A short walk to town or the lake, and a short drive to the springs. The long dining tables and open fire made it perfect for group meals and board games!”

Stayed at Dunroman

Dunroman is a beautiful home, large, social, amazing outdoor areas and easily supports a number of guests with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, two bathrooms with seperate toilets and great parking. Just a couple of minutes walk to the main strip and well worth considering as your next holiday rental. Great check out time, seamless key collection and great communication made this a very easy process! I look forward to staying again soon!

Clean & tidy, warm for arrival, well-equipped (lacked nothing that we needed for 8 people), clean linen in good condition. Provision of the open fires added to the ambiance for a family gathering.
