From Melbourne CBD
Via the Western Highway
Tavel over the Westgate Bridge and take the Western Ring Road. Take the Western Highway exit that goes to Ballarat. Once on the Western Highway travel for about one hour until the Ballan/Daylesford turnoff. Once off the highway turn right toward Daylesford and travel for around 30 kilometres, you will pass Musk Vale and Sailors Hill. This road eventually turns into the main road into town and becomes Vincent St. As you approach the centre of town coming up a hill, past the service station on your right, you will see some shops on either side of the street. Daylesford Accommodation... escapes is on your left just before the old post office (on your left) and before the roundabout (the first one you come to).

Via the Calder Highway
Take the Tullamarine Freeway (a tollway to Bell st). Merge left into the Calder Highway towards Bendigo for around 35 minutes. Take the Woodend to Woodend. When in town pass the traffic lights and the pedestrian lights. Turn left at the street where the shops come to an end, there is a service station opposite. This street is signed "Daylesford" on the opposite side (right side) of the road, the sign is easy to miss so keep your eyes peeled. Travel on this road for around 20km. 1km past Tylden turn right into the Daylesford road travel for another 20km or so. You will come into Daylesford past the cemetary, then a pub on your left (farmers arms hotel) keep going over the rise and down past the fountain where you will come to a roundabout. Turn left into Vincent St, go straight throught the second roundabout and Daylesford Accommodation... escapes is on your right next to the old post office.

By Train & Coach
From Southern Cross Station in Melbourne two options are available.
Take the Ballarat train to Ballarat. Once there there is a coach to Daylesford.
Or take the Bendigo train to Woodend. Then take a coach from Woodend to Daylesford.
Be sure to check time tables for your trip as there are limited coaches from each train station.
